In Ega’s Valley, 6 km away from Nova Levante (Dolomites – Italy), there is an alpine lake with emerald water which, thanks to the colors reflected in the sunlight, is also called “Rainbow Lake”, or in Ladin “Lec de Ergobando”. The surface of Carezza’s Lake is not just green, blue or black like other mountain lakes, but gleams with all colours of the rainbow.
The Norman-Angiovin Castle of Buccino (Volcei) represents a typical example of the baronial castle of the Salerno hinterland. The manor, although in a state of ruin, has recently been restored as part of the programs of the Ancient Volcei urban park. The various architectural elements have been preserved through which it is possible to read the chronological and functional evolution of the site. It is not excluded that the promontory guarding the underlying inhabited area was already used in Roman times, as evidenced by the various elements of reuse found in recent works.
Thanks so much Mondo NYC Music Festival 2020 for having me and giving me this huge opportunity to play my songs at your digital showcase festival in New York City. I realized one of my biggest dreams ever: mix my records at international festival in front of thousands of people and I was the first DJ ever who play his songs on this awesome Palinuro’s cliff (Italy).
Dream like a child, make music like a dreamer…
The Dominican convent of Santa Maria of Constantinople was founded by the will of Olevano people in 1533 and was abolished by a decree of Gioacchino Murat in 1806. The complex is located in the countryside lapping the village Valle di Salitto, along the ancient route that connected the latter fraction with Ariano. The ruins of the monastery, surrounded by ancient olive grovees and overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, still show what was the magnificence of the building. A large garden of about one hectare, enclosed by a wall, concluded the complex and a large covered arch is an impressive lookout.
