This is the true life story of Kevin Milner behind the song Home: in 2018 after getting an MRI, Kevin got a call from his doctor who said that he had a cancerous tumor called paraganglioma on his aorta. Kevin had a serious illness on the vocal chords and his situation got worse very quickly. Kevin was destroyed and he wanted to commit suicide. Kevin’s surgeon told him that he had a good chance of living but there was a 50/50 chance he will lose his voice because the tumor was close to a nerve that controls his vocal cord. After 5 hours of surgery, they had to cut his nerve to get the tumor out completely and his voice was completely compromised. After the surgery and after a series of treatments, now Kevin is able to sing again.
