Behind the song

I actually wrote the song 3 years ago and packed it away. Then I met Noma Mamba last year and we spoke about doing a song together that would bring a positively and hope as people around the world were going through such a stressful time. She writed an amazing lyrics and recorded it for me. When I heard it I thought it fit perfect to the music. I just had to tweak it a bit and we had a perfect song.  Seeing the need for a song that would capture the joy in finding someone with whom to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of this world after many months of lockdown, Take Me Away seemed exactly what the doctor would’ve ordered!
